How do I buy from another state? Print E-mail

All firearms that cross state borders must be transferred from dealer to dealer. After purchasing your firearm, we will arrange for it to be sent to the local dealer of choice. Once you have your relevant Permit To Acquire, the firearm may then be collected from your dealer.  If in doubt, contact your State Firearms Registry.

The Sporting Shooters Association of Australia( SSAA) has plenty of information on the legal aspects of firearms' transfers. I cannot recommend highly enough that you be a member of this association.  Click here to visit the SSAA website and discover all about the legislation and regulations pertaining to owning and acquiring firearms in Australia.
